Khwaza Radio
A self-service platform where anyone can launch an internet radio station in under a minute, with a free plan, paid upgrades and an automated server set-up.
The challenge
Community and independent broadcasters in South Africa had no local, affordable way to get a stream online without technical help.
What we built
We built a custom PHP platform that creates a Shoutcast server for each sign-up automatically, then gives the customer a dashboard with live listener stats, a web player and step-by-step encoder guides. Billing runs through PayFast.

- Station online in under 60 seconds
- Automatic set-up, suspension and renewal
- Each station gets its own public listen page that search engines can find
